Web installer¶
After system preparation, the web installer configures the database, master data, and first administrator account.
Step 1: Welcome and system check¶
The first page shows the intended instance data and checks the technical requirements.
Step 2: License terms¶
You must accept the license terms before continuing.
Step 3: Configure the database¶
Enter the database connection details and credentials in the third step.
If Qisutu was prepared on a completely unconfigured local server using
install.sh, keep Use automatically prepared local database
authorization selected. In this case, the web installer uses the temporary
credentials from:
/opt/qisutu/var/install/database-bootstrap.conf
When the option is selected, the visible Database administrator and Password fields are ignored. The password field therefore remains empty. You do not need to assign or configure a MariaDB administrator password first.
After configuring the database successfully, Qisutu automatically deletes the
temporary database user and the database-bootstrap.conf file. If the
installation stops at this step, do not delete the file manually before
resolving the cause and opening the web installer again.
After successful setup, Qisutu confirms that the database was created and shows the generated credentials.
Step 4: System settings¶
Configure the basic Qisutu instance settings here.
Step 5: Email settings¶
Email retrieval and delivery can be configured during installation.
Step 6: Completion¶
The final page confirms successful installation and provides information for the first sign-in.
